Floorball...

whao.....floorball was tiring....as usual....but tts why i played it:) need the exercise, the adrenaline, and of cuz the excape from skl life and meet new faces too:)

dun...i repeat dun....eat breafkfast at weird times...and even if u do...dun eat a heavy breakfast....sigh...i at a chicken cutlet (?!?!) at 10 plus? just before FA...aft tt..the queues were horrendously long...and i dint feel hungry...so i went to play floorball.....while the rest went for their tuts...

well, aft floorball, im super super hungry...bleagh....and im eating tons of unhealthy food now....choc chip cookie, lays, instant mash potato..sigh....

dinner soon:) hope i dun spoil my appetite...
anw....all of u.....left w o mi! bleagh...(ok partly cuz i dint ans e fone cuz i was floorball-ing)....well, lucki i dint go....cuz the girls were goin to shop...and the guys were gonna watch longest yard...which ive watched alrdy:) enjoy ur day pple:)

hmm.....i wonder how is it tt relationships are so fickle...and unpredctable....u cld be good frens once...and den poof...ur like a stranger...well......tts life.....

Handball....

once upon a time....we played handball with laughter, with fairness, with comradeship, without referees.....

.....with friends....

we would applaud others for good techniques...go wow when the opposing team does a wonderful stunt....clap when one of our friends shoots an impressive goal...pick each other up when we accidentally fouled em.....raise our own hands to declare our own foul on the other person.....hold the ball to pause the game when sumone is down on the ground, regardless whether he was on our team or not....laugh when sumone does sumthg stupid...acknowledge the opponent w a smile knowing tt he dint foul u intentionally...pat each other on the back when the game was over...most imptly, we would walk off the pitch knowing we played with friends...

once upon a time....we were young....we knew what games were.....
once upon a time...we knew wad sportsmanship was.....
once upon a time .....we valued friendship....
once upon a time....we knew that winning isn't everything....losing with grace and humility was far more valued than to win with pride and stabbing....
once upon a time.....we knew respect....not respect as in to seniors or elders...but respect to the team who puts up a fight but with sportsmanship...backs down to aggression....respect earned when their silence silences the foul mouthed....

nothing is more important in sports than sportsmanship...

this is a game....ur not gonna walk away w a trophy.....even people fighting for their country's honour dun behave like this....and this is a game....the only thing that u could have walked away with...u just threw it aside......friendship

maybe i think its my batch....i look around and realise that my batch is nice:) all of us in our batch came from sports backgrounds and most had leadership backgrounds in one area or another...rugby captain...softball captain...netball cap...house caps..prefects....hockey...volleyball? and the list goes on....we know that each yr we compete.....whether we lose it doesnt matter...we win some we lose some....there is no shame in losing to a better team:) besides even if we lose the competition.....it doesnt matter...there'll always be next year....more importantly, we knew how to differentiate fun....from training...from competition....

sigh....being a referee is not easy...(i remembered refereeing with laughs....where the referee was onli needed to keep score and time....and the game flowed according to the honesty and comradeship of both teams)...esp when not many knew the rules...and since "some" team(s) played so violently...man, this is the first time i see sumone kick a guy when he's alrdy on the ground..and pple scoldin vulgarities thruout the game....sigh.....hello? he's gonna be ur colleague? and its a GAME?

and the tough part was if i were to stick to the rules closely id be calling foul every second....so i only called out fouls that were obvious...that would affect the play and sportsmanship of the game...but i tried to let the game flow.....

i gave face to u....even when face was not given to one another on the court....at the end of the day.....ur friends and peers are watchin u......respect, awe, a good impression, good character...these are but some of the things that one could walk away with, from the field....but no...sum of u chose to walk away with ur chin stuck up high....eyes to the sky...oblivious to the people shaking their heads....

had a fun game today nonetheless:) the m1 team was pretty fun and talented....we had power shooters, skillful passers...gamemakers...magic people....and a steady goalkeeper..sadly we just dint play foul...bleagh. we knew tt it was just a game...listened to the referee...let ourselves get slammed, shoved by the others...dint let the dirtiness of the opposing team daunt us or destroy our beautiful handball:) we kept our game clean:) respect!

the dramamamama reminded mi of rjc....when we were seniors...and ogls...there was this time our ogs were having inter og frisbee competition....and it got soo heated up and bad....til qt and i just happened to bump by and decided to play in their teams....qt in his og...and i in mine.....we showed em how lafter could make a game so much more meaningful.....i just pray that one day when they become adults they too learn as we did....:)

Beautiful handball....i salute all u ex o4 rj pple....for the times we shared back at rj....when we wld dump our bags at the canteen... get changed....and play til our hearts content at the courtyard.....thx for teachin mi the meaning of beautiful handball:) and most imptly....for teachin mi respect and sportsmanship....

i walk away from those games with new friends:)

Drum lessons....

well, on our way back.....we saw this malay guy.....wow he was how cool! he was break dancing outside cine.....:)...anw heres my to do list:)

Confirm to do:

@Break dancin...zhihan and i will be finding one pro break dancer from esplanade....i hope sum of em will teach us....haha...:)

@Drumming lessons....ive learnt all the basics and a bit more...and can drum to songs w sum practice...but i guess its time i progressed more and made it good:) be a pro drummer....haha...hopefulli:) got lessons details and reserved sum alrdy:) zh will be comin w mi again...heh:)

@Salsa....Ningyan will be booking this for us:) more or less confirmed will be starting soon:) 12 of us:)..private lessons sumore:) used to salsa a bit in the past..heh:P

@Wakeboarding...getting lobangs now....but will onli start tt next yr:P must space out...haha:P

Wooh....our first FA over....hmmm...

bleagh...tired out....we just walked miles from fong seng...cuz the lousy bus service ended=S

let's see..im not a words person...haha...todays FA was erm hilarious.....ok not so...but i dint noe the answers to a lot of qns:P so i just chose the most familiar sounding ones.....heh..and not bad.....at least my subconscious is listening to the lects:P lucki thing i dint study....not much time to haf made a diff:P

aft tt we went to town..to celebrate..haha..our first test over:P

took bus...and went to cafe cartel....we practically ate ever single loaf of bread man....lets see...5-7 loaves?? haha..and the onli dish we ordered was potato wedges and 10 scoop ice-cream...haha...ate like crazy...and den talked abt life....

how ningyan's life is like a train..lynettes one was choc, davids one was a dream of a meadow, yanshengs one was seasons...yup...a rather contemplative talk..:P talked abt houses and families and bfs:P haha.....

aft which lynette wanted to watch russel peters...????....OPP....but yeah.....

den we watched brothers Grimm...haha...it was pretty funny:P enjoyed it:)

I am officially broke...

hello everyone.....claire and i went shoppin today....and we burnt a hole in our wallets:P but wooo.....it was all worth it....

lemme start from the end of wad we bought..:)

we went to carefour just before comin back pgp....and haha...we bumped into this....

Meet our tamagochi:) I bought one for claire and one for myself:) her's is pink..haha....well, its an egg now..and its just bouncing abt on the screen....hope it doesn die:S oh and i can send cute msgs to claires tamagochi..haha...and also gifts and games....and aft a while...our tamagochis can get married!! hahaha.....hope mine doesn die on hers:S but Jack will marry Jill one day:)

OK....rewind a bit more.....we were upstairs...and here is my dream wallet:):):) i dint wanna buy it..but claire said no....and she paid for it....(i guess its in return for all the stuff i got her....heehee......just kiddin) well, here it is...smooth black leather,....simple..but with a nice metal logo at the corner...and ripcurl imprinted on the inside:P

and lo and behold....the wallet can be separated into 2!!!!! to gimme a smaller goin out wallet for the special occasions or for times i go out for functions and dun need to lug a brick w mi:P

haha...she was the reason claire and I went out of skl to orchard om a skl day immediately after skl....we walked around orchard....(we were super demoralised aft skl..cuz we called apple wheelock and apple ps....and dey all said sold out) so we dropped off at lucky plaza busstop..went into macs to use the wireless....so she cld surf the net for nano outlets in spore. Meanwhile, nature called....on the way back from toilet i happened to bump into a shop...u noe..one of those weird shops tt haf a tv and video...on sum giant screen..(i saw myself lar...and stopped to play w my picture...sounds stupid..but its fun how ur other hand pops up and how its not an exact mirror image) anw...i guess i seemed like sum rich tourist...cuz the owner came and asked mi.....can i help u sir? i was like erm....do u sell any ipod nanos? and he said....yeah...sure....4 gb or 2 Gb? i was like huh???

so i ran back to claire....and the rest is history:P ok we sorta went al over the place to confirm prices..etc....includin apple.....at wheelock....

tada...my apple.....nano:)

anw....when i called apple ps.....this was our conversation..

Apple: nanonano

Me: err.....hello..

Apple: Nanonano

Me: hello, is this apple plaza sing?

Apple: yes...you lookin for nanonano?

me: err.......no.....but i wld like to enquire abt ur ipod nano...

Let me tell you my e-love life....

First there was the humble walkman....i was young and impressionable....(and i dint noe it was wrong to be gay....but hey, he was black..robust and hardy!) unfortunately we were poor.....but still...he was wow! sadly my parents onli got it for my 2 older sisters....and there i was....preschool only, but already heartbroken

next came the vivacios cd player....boy, it was love at first sight....the slimmer they were, the more i had to look at em:P sadly again, my parents said we were not well to do...and the cd player came from an extremely well-to-do background. and ill just get burnt....i begged and i begged...for years...for my parents to let us be tog. but sadly, they never ever approved of us...all they said was i was still young and i haf yet to see the real world...and there will be many more out there and prettier ones too... when i went out on my own..

and they sure were right!

i met all kinds of MODELS too:) different colors, different sizes, from all over the world too......and some were extremely exotic too=D

i was lost...for once i realised tt i wasnt realli in love anymore....i was more confused than ever...and i knew tt even if i fell for one now, ill just meet an even prettier, captivating and substantial one later.....

and sure enough....i made the leap of faith..her name was mini....she came from a long line of famous descendents called apple....i must say tt she realli caught my eye..and tt wherever we went we just kept bumping into each other...on the train, on the television, in the newspapers, walkin down orchard road...yes she was famous...even my younger sister started talkin abt her before i even said it...:S i did not even know how i wld be able to get tog w someone like her. how can a normal, simple guy like mi ever get her?

but i worked hard...(and thank God for army pay too....NS) and earned sum cash..saved it....and plucked up my courage...it was a few months since she caught my eye and i walked into her house.....it was crowded......she was having a party, at suntec expo....boy, i had to shove my way around...and apparently, i dint even noe if she was already taken or whether she was still available.

i went up to her secretary, (cuz she was popular, so she dint reali like to get touched, stared at or grabbed around by pple)...and asked to see her......i cld hear her say...."aiyoh, boy, ur sooo late...lemme check if she's available".....i started to sweat, i was beginning to think tt it was wasted trip...

but whao....when she came back.....back in her arms...was MINI!!! and the rest was history....she has been beside me ever since....

til now...

its been almost 6 months...(goin to be)...but ive realised tt shes not the model who i thought she was.....shes dull, i need a colorful person. i need sumone who can fit my lifestyle....(and i realised tt she was a bit heavy and overweight too) and tt was when i met her sister!!

wow....she was soooo pretty....now tt was wad i call love at first sight.....shes such a colorful thing!
she has sooo many things to say! and shes even slimmer!! and guess wad? she likes to dress up in white too! hee:) she even has a pretty good memory too and is intelligent...she can see a picture and remember it in her memory and describe the picture with extreme detail to me whenever i cant remember:P

guys and gals....lemme introduce to u the girl who i will be chasing from now on...her name is nano.....APPLE IPOD NANO...

i will be goin to her house soon:P hee

well, it all works out in the end......mini turned out to be a lesbian...o_O....explains why she was all jumpy w mi sumtimes (just kidding:P)...sheesh...

and she was actualli the love of my sister's life and vice versa....no wonder they spent soooo much time tog while i was in army! so yes....they are gonna live happily ever after...

(tt is unless sumone else buys her away..cuz im short of money:S)

The Longest Yard....

Went to watch the longest yard w dearest claire today:) it is one super great show......must go and catch it! it was funni, the moves were great, the pple were fantastic...hmmm...u shld go watch it:) it was just great:) to me at least:) now...all i need to do is find the vcd/dvd for batman begins....grrr...

oh oh...i think i found my dream wallet! haha....2 more weeks...just two more weeks..wont describe it..nor will i say where i saw it...or u pple will go and kope it....heh....

watched the movie today....well, wanted to watch red eye....but we preferred longest yard. sadly cine dint haf a suitable timing. So we watched the perfect catch:) nice movie......feel tt it says a lot abt a relationship:)

well, this is quite funni...its outside our lt btw. haha.....to all u girls out there...hmmm..well, theres sumthg like dis if u are interested:P

Last day of the week.....

well, last day of the week, was sooo tired..slept thru everything...including voons wonderful prelab...bleagh...at least i was awake for most:)

thot i had driving, but was so happy to find out i dint haf any this week:) tt meant i cld stay back to support hweeying cheerlead! her first time doin it....was so happy for her...she came in first and all her stunts went up:)

aft tt....we're gonna haf sum major stayover at pgp:) so pooja and siva came to my room to chill out.....

sumtime around 1 plus, the pple will start arriving:P yazid and yingheng..haven tokked to em in a long time...

and most importantly(!), we're gonna celebrate Pamela Tham's birthday!!! Happy birthday pam!! may all ur wishes come true and may u stay pretty forever!

Jue Due Superstar!!!!!!

after ice skating and dinner....we made our way back to our rooms...to bathe....and its back again at my room...for the *showdown*....but the singing was rather lack-lustre

and here comes the division of the room.....kelvin vs kelly! aka.....qt vs the rest of the room...and sitting on the fence is mr david....who cldnt be bothered and spent most of the time on my beanbag...

im sorry....i started out supporting kelvin...but hes not onli blind...he was deaf tonight man..his tone and pitch was all over the shop....i dunno if he did it on purpose....cuz i actualli felt sorry for him...but guess wad?? he won...*slaps head*

Ice Skating.....:)

After a sum wad useless and unproductve pbl :S .....

i think i fell asleep....bleagh
