Then it was onto Paya Lebar Air Force....by invitation of Mag's superior....here's some fotos of not so sensitive stuff cuz the first 2 levels re owned by a private company and hence most stuff are allowed in=P or so we were told?
A high speed centrifuge...that can create 10 Gs?? or more i think..for pilot training. Mag was supposed to sit in it tt day...but alas...she was under medication. Next time!
After work...it was onto meet up with the circular pple...sadly mortons was denied. but nevertheless company was good....AND I MET KAREN YU!! (her nameis in caps...cuz she DISAPPEARED from the face of the earth and literally reappeared in front of me again!=P) and renji=)

here's peng...with her FUNKY hair cut!
I think she has more guts than me!:P

Surprise.....second try.=P

After which, it was a quick drive to 5th avenue..wei xian's house. To catch up with long lost trackers! Seeing pple who i trained for a good 2 years and some 6 yrs of my life...hearing interesting stories abt em....and also getting wonderful/shocking surprises abt their lives...

First big surprise came from my "brother" Des! haha.....(she adopted me as her "sister" in track=P)

as you can see...vicky isnt half the man he used to be..literally! haha=P

The girls...
84 n 85 batch...
The guys...
The 86 trackers! Interesting to think tt i have been trainin for as long as 6 yrs plus with sum of em=) even if i dint train with em...we've been competing for the same amount of time.
blur shots:S
squished for a foto.
Anyway, sitting amongst all the trackers made me think a bit and i realised tt track and field has been quite a big part of my life (ok, i dint just think of this then....but tt moment reignited the feeling). That is alrdy an understatement by itself....cuz for me, ive been running competitively since primary 3..heh=P well, all i noe is sumwhere along the line, i got jaded with track..but im glad tt i still stayed in track..the sense of familiarity, friends, sweat, stress...dun think ill forget it....i can still remember weird shit moments like how the body tenses and feels weak at the same time when we stand behind the starting blocks..(and not just remember, but sumtimes just imagining the situation can make the body feel exactly as such...like sum conditioned response)..where the whole stadium is silent for tt few seconds. Anw i'm just eternally grateful to have competed in a few finals in the National stadium before migrating to crummy inadequate stadiums. The atmosphere, air, feel etc is just so much greater...makes winning so much sweeter...but as i said, winning no longer became a reason for track. But i wish they wld go back to the National stadium...for future batches' sake.

ok..its late..and i gotta wake up early tmr..plus loooong day...ill picassa everything first....

We Love you DAVID!! seriously! okay...remember, it's the thot tt counts...not the gift or the exact actions...haha! just remember tt we took tons of effort and time, work and paperwork to give you that wondrous surprise!
Details shall be spared due to the highly restricted and classified covert ops underwent to achieve the desired outcome:P Haha.....anw, David, you had better keep the letters in a damn safe place or shred it..seriously!
after which, the dancers are reunited once more under the leadership of our queen....realli felt like deja vu=)

Went to watch Superman yesterday...not as bad as some pple said it was=P
Anyway, you'll never know wad u can read in today's newspapers...here's my horoscope from the Sunday Lifestyle:
"Tired of looking for love in all the wrong places? A platonic friendship provides a solid foundation for future romance, so keep an open mind - even about friends that you'd never think about in that way. Never say never."
hmmm...haha..i wonder=P
Anyway, jamming today was realli good! The energy was there, and somehow the songs just had *it*. And i wasn't so zoned-out like the other day...the drummin actualli felt and sounded good! Was realli high and happy by the end of the 3 hours...good session=) tho tired....obviousli=P

Shall go sleep now:) finally:) designed 3 posters so far! and theres lynette's subway party tmr! good night=) Oh...and haf fun in turkey all u pple!!=) haf a great hols! Sum of us might see might be seeing u pple in thailand..MIGHT! Take care!=)

team talk...anyway...see the yellow guy in the right hand side of the pic? He was definitely the man of the match! Saved almost every single shot! WOW! with acrobatic and amazing dives/stretches/reaches. It was one gravity-defying and applause-deserving performance!

Well, we eventualli won 12-1. a pretty ok game. But i think the malaysians wld haf performed better if they had a bit more practice..or if they had their full team. Cause i dun think their real handball players came down in this particular batch. Maybe next yr when we go down to their uni, where it's easier for their pple to play, we might get trashed...who noes?:P but i think we played the kind of game i hoped we wld play....as a host to frens=). Professionsal and kind. Friendly and respectful.
Thank you Ahmad! It was one realli beautiful evening! and the credit goes all out to you! See the tent? The mat? the plastic bags of stuff? He planned, prepared and organised everything=)! He even planned one elaborate birthday surprise for Ivan (Mag's bf=D)
This guy is one seasoned bbq-goer! "mat" style! haha! do u see the white speakers that he brought too? complete with a few clubby malay songs=P well, we've definitely learnt how to organise such a bbq----hon and i were sayin tt we'll try holding more of such bbqs in the future=)

Happy Birthday Ivan!

Hon, mag, ivan and ahmad=) Ivan maulana was supposed to join us...sadly he cld not leave his camp til much later=S
The night was just wonderful. I guess the biggest reason why it was so nice was cuz it was so unexpected. Ahmad planned everything, but when he smsed i alrdy had prior plans. Besides i have been to bbqs at pple's houses and at ecp. So when i think of a bbq at ecp i sorta had this preconceived image of a bbq pit with oily concrete tables, standing around under a lamp-post..haha. i was still looking forward to it..but never did i expect sumthg so.....erm..authentic as this.=)
Sitting on a straw mat, cookin on a small make-shift bbq stove right next to the mat, while lying down. Waves crashing just a few metres ahead from us, feasting in the dark, sea breeze in our hair. Warm conversations, Light laughter, great food (esp the sambal stingray...shit! it was DAMN good!), and wonderful friends who ive never had the luxury of meeting often...tho ive known em for a pretty long time.
This is the Life=)
and us..the germany supporters:P
I realised radio predictions are pretty accurate. The deejay was saying tt the match wld be a draw..and it will end with a penalty shoot-out with germany winning...WOW.
and...congrats to all those who supported germany...or betted on em...haha..like huilin's virgin betting today=P
