Exams are over!!

Please just let all of us pass and get promoted to year 4!

Went to watch Juno and i must say it was a REALLY GOOD movie=) Do go catch it

Woke up at 4 pm on Thursday....and have been climbing abt my roof again. Doing, yet again, some more rewiring and room improvement=P.

Anw, I really shld keep track of all the buggers who borrow money from me, and all the buggers who "shared" presents. Cuz I was going thru my expenditure book, n i realised tt ten billion and one pple havent paid me back the money they owed me.....and all the small amounts accumulated to like 100++.=( and the irritating thing abt it was how the individual amounts of money was like 8/12/15 bucks each and it was more than 2/3 months ago?:S I should start only sharing gifts with a minimum cost of 50 bucks each...tt way, i have the "right" to chase them til thy kingdom come, either tt or i shld start some ebay shit..heh. But seriously, going thru my expenditure quite pissed me off. As in i dont mind spending money and i dont mind treating pple once in a while or paying for parking (once in a while too=P), but i just cannot stand wasting money, or getting fines...it's seriously seeing hard earned money fly away. So all u buggers who owed me money.....!#$% u. if you remember, please pay me back?=S otherwise, i guess there's nothing much i can do but just wipe this clean and be more strict with myself.

Anyway, my new dry cabinet=) For quite cheap too!:)

OH! and after a year long absence...my old trusty free hp camera lives again! I decided to dismantle the camera now tt im free and find out wad was wrong...and so after buying some spare parts and a spare battery...the camera lives again...for a small fee of 12 bucks in total!=) The above two pics were taken using the old cam=) I think i will just continue using this compact pns camera til it dies=) (May it have a long and fruitful life!)

(This was obviously not taken by my old camera=P)

New Soul

~Yael Naim~

Got my turtlewax=) it's pretty good=) patches up minor scratches REALLY REALLY well, and also covers deep scratches, but only if the scratch is thin. However, my hopes for it covering a 3 by 10 cm long deep scratch were not to be fufilled. heh. However, it's still a good product....realli cool to see it work. I swear there's some NASA shit in that bottle. Good buy for 20 bucks=) they sell it at the DIY shop at Vivocity. It's called turtle wax color cure with chipstick.

As for really bad scratches....sandpaper, use a bottle of car paint, then touch up with turtle wax=) that's wad i intend to do at least=P as for the rest of the scratches on my car....turtle wax settled em=)

Anw, are there any (credit/debit) cards (not supplementary cards) with good rebates? (esp petrol:P) that does not have any minimum income? and annual fees? haha.....just trying my luck=P cuz i realised tt I've always overlooked certain "fixed" expenditures, when i shld still look for ways to cut down on those....esp when petrol prices are rising (there's only so much manual techniques can do to save petrol:P)

Sunburnt..Happy V'day everybody=)

Really realli sunburnt...like second degree burn i think..heh. Anyway, here are some random shots=) Some of the shots, like the ones of the tables on the beach, were totally not related to me..haha (tho i wldnt mind). Just thot they wld be nice shots=)Photos with a white border are by liyana.

Followed by dinner with friends at Pooja's place=) homecooked (hallcooked?) by Huilin and Pooja=) it was good!

Happy Valentine's day everyone=) Study hard too:) Just 2 more weeks=)

(They shld seriously just implode the whole library instead of using the MOST primitive of methods to dismantle the library! I bet if there was a choice between 1) some slightly more advanced method with less noise and 2) some insanely loud and irritatingly loooong method tt somehow dated back to the pre-egyptian era...they somehow WILL ALWAYS use the second method. Seriously. Like one of the workers just stood there for a whole 45 min (?!?!) dropping a metal weight onto a pole into the ground trying to drive the pole in....seriously (?!?) And lo and behold..i was reading abt occupational health---NOISE hazards. I shld write into MOM so tt work gets suspended for the next week....of cuz i have their health in my best interest. To make matters worse, the workers are SHOUTING at each other [at voices loud enuff to be heard inside seminar rooms], as though they were shouting to someone halfway across the field when the poor guy is next to them.....so they must be deaf. Poor thing..someone shld do something abt it=P)

Stickmen Pillows=)

Cute=) small stickmen pillows that were on sale at the bazaar in NUS.

Sadly....I made another deep scratch on the body kit of my car=S So far...2 major scratches on my car, all on the left side and both on the body kit....at the bottom...about 3X10-15cm long....due to curbs=S Heartpain! Need to call the turtle wax guy tmr....hope it's not too ex? anybody wanna share red turtle wax (meant for deep scratches)=)
Anw, i think i'll convert the random flowers on the left sidebar into stickmen when i have the time=P

Chinese New Year back at Ipoh=)

Chinese New Year back in Malaysia=) Here are some of the photos. For my relatives----cousins, uncles and aunties, you can click on the link (the first photo) and download the original copy.

More fotos coming up once the last batch of photos have been uploaded onto Fotki=)

Fotki and Capture NX are amazing.....seriously. The nice thing abt both is tt I can run batch processes for both....as in all i need to do is just click which photos to adjust and under what settings, and which photos to upload...and they upload the whole load. And i go to sleep=) The nice thing abt capture nx is that the programme shuts the com down after finishing wad its doin too=) So when i wake up evverything is finished=) No hassle.

Sadly, I have not started my revision for the pros. ALL THE WAY NOW!

Happy CNY everyone=)

FOTKIFOTKIFOTKIFOTKI

Finally...I've found a good third party host=)

Welcome to http://www.fotki.com/ it has a super stable uploading programme that doesn trip and u can upload infinite numbers of pictures at one shot. It'll then upload in the background while u can go do ur stuff (unlike the 5 at a time of blogger). The nice thing is it doesnt trip no matter how much crap i do online.

And for the camera enthusiasts...(Jonk, if ur readin this, i think you'll love this)..the site comes with an AMAZING EXIF description of each photo! For example:

EXIF Image Details
Make:
Nikon Corporation
Model:
Nikon D300
Width:
4288 pixels
Height:
2848 pixels
F-Number:
F/5.6
Exposure Time:
0.0333 sec. 1/30
Metering Mode:
Multi-segment
ISO Speed:
280
Date:
2008-02-05 15:05:14

You can download download the original file=)

The best thing is it's free and there's no limit! haha=)

And after that, the image can not only be viewed via an album at the site itself, or shared thru emails, it can be hosted on third party websites such as blogger!=)

Multiply is good for albums....but for third party hosting, it's unreliable/unstable and the retarded multiply logo is just fugly.

I've linked the first image below to the FOTKI album.

I think I'll be following this format for the rest of the blog posts=)

Shall test out new stuff=)

Well, have been trying out new stuff, and after yet another cleaning up session of my com and also rewriting some html for my blog to make it simpler to use...I've decided to try out Multiply to upload my photos=)

Anyway, being quite new to all this, Im easily impressed by certain stuff.....like Nikon Transfer. It's a software that recognises your camera and transfers the files from your camera onto 1) your designated folder and 2) a backup folder such as a server or a hard drive...simultanuously!

So no need for all those double copying and pasting:)

yay....ok...Multiply is pretty good. It's easier to upload the photos and i can still put the photos here on blogger. not only tt but i can alter the size of the pictures easily by editting the html...so the pics can fit my page nicely.....Alright. shall go sleep now=)

HAHAHAHA..

Finally, after months of not having a camera and constantly borrowing cameras or bringing an sd card to leech off pple's camera's......i've finally gotten enuf courage to get my dream SLR...nikon D300.

HAVE TO THANK MY PARENTS.....=) Thank you! ITSAMAZINGLYHEARTPAINTOPAYFORIT.

And of course, thanks also to my uncle KFC for his guidance....and connections-which allowed me to get the camera at such a good deal. Most of all for introducing me to alan photo so that i can go back for good deals without having to worry abt constant searchings and constant bargainings.

Finally, many thanks to the numerous pple who have entertained my questions and constant badgering. Pple like jonk, who was extremely helpful in his advice and tips=)

I sound like some proud father...but this IS quite a big deal to me...haha...and i've been researchin on this for a loong time.

Anyway, for other camera enthusiasts (who ill most likely be approaching for help in the future=P), i got A nikon d300 body, nikkor 18-200 VR lens, Hoya digital filter.

Shit...this camera is like a freaking computer....the user manual is quite thick and has tons of functions. heh....this is quite bad. I'm supposed to be reading cofm and pharmaco. haha=P It's quite fun and addictive to just sit there and go thru all the buttons and functions!

Anyone got a dry cabinet which is in good condition....and wants to get rid of it?:P cheapcheap?
=)

Anybody wants a new camera? or camera accessories? haha...will be goin down again soon:)
